Jay and Colleen, My heartfelt sympathies to you and your families. Your mom will be missed but never forgotten. She and Jay were life-long friends with my parents. Personally, I spent many a year working at the family restaurant in the 70s and 80s and watching both of you grow up. Like others, I made it a yearly point to always stop in and say hello whether at the restaurant, her home or even a phone call. She was so proud of both you and your accomplishments. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

My late wife Joan, my sister Babe always enjoyed breakfast at Larkins. Many many pleasant memories and great memories going back to Mrs. Larkin, Jay's mom sitting at the counter wrapping silverware. I'll miss them all.
Love to the employees behind the scene who always served a great meal. People like the Larkins made
Wildwood what it is. I doubt we'll ever see the likes of them again.

It was with a much saddened heart that I read of Kathleen’s passing and closing of the iconic Larkin’s restaurant. I have referred morning bike riders to her restaurant for a good morning meal for decades.
Mrs. Larkin and her family will be sadly missed in the coming months and much longer. May she rest in eternal peace and rest.

Our hearts and prayers go out to Mrs. Larkin’s family. Larkins was always our first breakfast stop when we were in Wildwood. Me and my husband always brought our children there, then our grandchildren, and she always remembered us. We were greeted with hugs, a big smile, her warmth, and talks about the casino. We will never forget such a beautiful woman. My daughter sent the obituary and asked where do we eat now? I am soo sad
