Mary M. Thomas May 21, 1944 – May 17, 2025 Mary M. Thomas, born on May 21, 1944, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully in her home on May 17, 2025, surrounded by love. She was 80 years old. Mary was a devoted mother, proud business owner, and a vibrant soul who brought joy to everyone she met. She is survived by her three loving children: Danielle Harrison, Samuel Kotelnicki, and Joseph O'Connor, her grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A woman of determination and creativity, Mary ran her own successful business, Thomas Hair Fashions, for the majority of her career. Later in life, she became a familiar and friendly face at Wawa, where she worked until her well-earned retirement. Mary lived life fully and joyfully. She cherished time with her family and friends, loved the excitement of hitting the casino, and found peace watching the dolphins at the ferry — a simple pleasure that brought her great happiness. Services to honor and celebrate Mary's life will be held 5:00 PM at Evoy Funeral Home 3218 Bayshore Road North Cape May on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. Relatives and friends will be received at the funeral home from 3:30-5:00 pm. Flowers and/or condolences can be sent to Evoy Funeral home for the day of service. Her spirit, warmth, and humor will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, especially her children.
