Shirley Wilson, 93, North Cape May, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, May 7th. Born May 27, 1931 in Philadelphia, PA, she was born to the late Ernest Steinecke and Marion Diegel. Shirley was formerly of Levittown, PA but had lived in the Cape May area since 1962. She was a member of St. John Neumann Parish. Shirley was known for her kindness, generosity, and strength. She was an avid Baker and loved creating one-of-a-kind designs for her cakes and cupcakes. Her real joy, however, was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Shirley was predeceased by her husband Joseph Wilson in 2002. She is survived by their children, Joseph Wilson Jr. (Jeanie), Susan Poole, Robert Wilson (Melissa) and Sherri Sansone (Mark). In addition, she is survived by her 10 grandchildren; Joseph Wilson III, Michele Omara, Ted Wilson, Nicole Poole, Robert Poole, Brendan Poole, Laura Heck, Alyssa Keith, Mark Sansone Jr, Caylee Wilson and her 5 great grandchildren; Layla Omara, Noah Omara, Jayda Omara, Dean Keith and Sammy Keith. She will be forever loved and deeply missed. Funeral Services and interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Evoy Funeral Homes, Inc.
