Alphonse J Famiano Obituary

Alphonse J. "Al" Famiano, 76, passed away on April 17, 2025, in Cape May Court House, New Jersey. Born on June 14, 1948, in Darby, Pennsylvania, Alphonse lived a life marked by dedication and resilience.


A graduate of Interboro high School, Alphonse served in the United States Army from 1969 to 1970 during the Vietnam War. As a helicopter repairman, he survived a helicopter crash – an experience that exemplified his strength and perseverance.


Following his military service, Alphonse became a Master Plumber in New Jersey. In 1980, he founded Al's Plumbing and Heating, Inc., which he owned and operated for many years. His commitment to quality craftmanship and a strong work ethic earned him the respect of both clients and colleagues.


Alphonse is remembered with love by his wife, Linda; his son Alphonse Famiano and daughter-in-law Angie, along with their children Giavana, Olivia, and Kole; and his daughter Michele Famiano and her daughters Mia and Madelyn. He is also remembered through Destiny, the daughter of his late daughter Gina Famiano. His memory lives on through his siblings; brother Anthony Famiano and sister-in-law Mayann; sisters Jennie Bruder and Rita D'Amato.


He was predeceased by his father Anthony Famiano, mother Rita Famiano, brother John Famiano, and daughter Gina Famiano.


A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 9:30AM to 11:00AM with a service to follow at 11:00AM at Evoy Funeral Home, located at 3218 Bayshore Road, North Cape May, NJ 08204. Interment will follow at Cape May County Veteran Cemetery, 127 Crest Haven Road., Cape May Court House, NJ.


In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Cooper University Hospital, 2 Stone Harbor Blvd., Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.
