Obituary of Carol L Willshire

Carol L. Willshire, 57, Cape May Court House, entered into eternal rest Wednesday morning at ExcelCare Egg Harbor Township. Born September 11, 1967 in Quantico VA, she was the oldest of three children born to Joseph and the late Linda Ann (Kerr) Willshire (July 11, 2019). Joe and Linda moved back to Cape May County in 1980 where Carol would attend Middle Township High School and graduate in 1985. After graduation, she attended Rowan University and graduated with a Master's Degree in Math Education. She continued her education and obtained a second Master's Degree in School Counseling. Carol had a love of mathematics and enjoyed teaching. Carol enjoyed watching sports, but looked forward to football season and her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers. She had a talent for painting wine glasses and vases which she would often gift to family and friends. Her greatest joys in life were spending time with her family especially her nieces and nephews. In addition to her father Joe, she is survived by her daughter Ashlie Matthews (Juan); sister Kathy Grizky (Walt); brother Joe, Jr., nieces and nephews Jonathan, Devin, Samantha, Emily, Brendan, Aubree and Alyssa; and aunts, uncles and cousins. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Funeral Services will be held 12PM Tuesday, April 15 at Evoy Funeral Home 3218 Bayshore Road North Cape May NJ 08204. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 11AM until the time of service. Interment will be held on the grounds of Calvary Baptist Cemetery Seaville NJ.
