Grace V. Orr, age 96, of Rio Grande NJ, formerly of the Somerton Section of Philadelphia, Pa. passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday 2/22/2025. Grace was born on July 10th, 1928 in Philadelphia, Pa; the daughter of the late Hugh and the late Annie (McGuckin) Oliver.
Grace enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas, going to the casinos in Atlantic City, playing the arcades on the Wildwood Boardwalk, her trips to South Carolina with her daughter Liz and family and her scratch off lottery tickets
Grace is survived by her sons Edward W. Orr Jr; William J. (Elizabeth) Orr; Thomas F (Maureen) Orr; Michael H. Orr Sr and daughter Elizabeth Ann (Michael) D'Antuono. Also she is survived by 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Grace was predeceased by her husband Edward W Orr, her daughter Maryellen Orr, grandson Michael H. Orr and daughter- in- law Anna Orr.
There will be a Memorial Service on Monday March 3, 2025 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, North Cape May NJ 08204; The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to The Stocking Project at thestockingproject.cmc@gmail.com.
