Carl Bruce Irons, 73, Villas NJ, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, February 19th at his residence with his family by his side.

Born June 22, 1951 in Bridgeton NJ, he was the son of the late Ernest F. and Mollie Eileen (Halter) Irons.

Carl was an honorable man who was not only trustworthy and generous, he was strong minded and loyal to his family. He enjoyed classic cars, doing yardwork, playing solitaire and small games of chance.

He worked construction most of his life and later he worked at Harpoon's on the Bay in North Cape May.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Peggy and Kate.

Carl was a loving husband of 46 years to his wife Karen (nee Bowen); loving parent to his children Dorothy "Dee" Irons wife of Bob Mount, Ernest Irons, Richard Irons and Amy Irons partner of David Fritsch; he adored his grandchildren Amber, Bobby, Max, Ernie, Sara, David and Molly and great grandson Sammy. He is also survived by his brother David and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 1-2PM Wednesday, February 26th at Evoy Funeral Home 3218 Bayshore Road North Cape May. Funeral Services will follow at 2PM. Rev. James Bry, Off. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family at Cold Spring Cemetery.
