Fall of 1992, October 5th to be exact.
If my memory serves me correctly, Matt had received an all expense paid trip to Orlando.
Tom and I drove in from Ft. Meyers to spend a few days with them, renting a convertible which leaked terrible in the rain.
Hunter enjoyed swimming in the hotel pool with Matt and we all had a blast at Disney World.
I also remember Hunter jumping up and down on the bed, laughing hysterically.
Ironically this was the last time I saw the trio together, the first time I had met Hunter, and the last time I saw Matt alive.
I apologize for the wait, it took forever to find this picture.
Love to you girl...

Q: What will you miss most about Hunter?
A: What I will miss the most is the long talks with him. Long talks about music, life, relationships and everything else we could think of. He was an awesome person to talk to. His knowledge of music was out of the world. I will miss him playing his music in person and the little videos he use to. He will be greatly missed and will always be loved and thought about. The world lost a diamond in the ruff when he left.

My deepest condolences to all of you. I remember Hunter when I was at Tracy’s right after Christmas one year, he was such a sweet, loving, kind person. I also remember meeting him at his favorite Aunt’s wedding his Aunt Tracy’s wedding. Such a great kid he was. He is now with his dad and grandparents. As everyone is saying goodbye here with tears in their eyes, remember when he gets to heaven there will be people smiling with tears in their eyes that are so happy to see him again. May he rest in peace, remember he is only a smile away. Cherish the memories “till we all meet again”

Dear Carollee,
Many moons ago we started talking and we developed a friendship that I treasure a lot. Everyone who knows you Carollee, also knows that your son is your pride and joy and so we talked a lot about Hunter as well. I was in awe about the bond the two of you shared. Besides being mother and son you were each others best friend and loved to spend time together. Whether it was watching movies or strolls along the beach, you had the best of times together. You made sure that you had time after work to hang out with Hunter and spend quality time together. Sometimes you were so tired that you'd fall asleep during the movie.
I remember you showing me pictures of Hunters hair and telling how proud he was because it had grown to such length. How he loved "the Beast", the big truck and how he could spend hours playing his guitars and compose his own music. How the holidays were the most favourite times of the year, especially Christmas and all the decorations in the yard were a big thing to look forward to. All your words about Hunter filled with pride and so much love! And he loved you ... it showed in every picture he shared, he was proud to be YOUR son.
I'm sure he will let you know in some way, shape or form that he's watching over you.
Sending you love and warm hugs ..

I didn't get to know you very well, living in Tennessee as I do. I enjoyed meeting you when I came home to Cape May a few years ago. Your Mother raised a good and caring man. From what I saw you were a child to be proud of and your Mother was certainly proud of you. Stay strong Carollee. Be proud of the man your son became. Hunter will be missed. Sorry for your loss.

Most of my time with hunter was as a lil guy who was so adorable and full of energy and was so sweet to his lil cousin Robert when he was a baby. Sadly I moved away and didn't see him much accept Facebook and it's so sad he's gone way too young. My heart goes out to his mom carollee they had such a close relationship and you could see even on facebook how much they treasured each other. Hugs and prayers to carollee and to tracey who was such a big part of his life.

Hunter enjoyed hanging with family whether by the pool, walking the beach or holiday time. He loved his mom and would spend hours watching movies with her and just talking about life. His love for music(especially Led Zeppelin) was always apparent as he spent hours playing his guitars, keyboard and listening to all genres of music. He enjoyed writing songs and recording them.
I always enjoyed spending Christmas Eve with Hunter, Carollee and Matt. He had an infectious smile when we celebrated the holidays. I looked forward to their visits.
He was a fine young man who is gone way too soon. We will miss you Hunter.

Hunter’s love of music began early in life. His dad, Matt, was a great influence teaching him the keyboards early, as shown in this amazing picture. They enjoyed playing their guitars together making music any time, day or night, at times, all day and night!

Hunter was so cool. Everytime I saw him in person his personality was just layed back. At his first Christmas at my Dad's place Hunter layed in a pile of Christmas wrapping paper. He looked up at me and I swear he nodded at me. All I saw at that moment was my father nodding at me. I've never spoke of this till now. I Love you Hunter.
