Mary E. Hagerty (nee McLaughlin) age 92 of Cape May Court House passed away peacefully with family members by her side on Monday, February 10, 2025. She was born July 5, 1932 in Philadelphia, PA. Mary attended St. Bernard's School and St. Hubert's High School. She worked at the Police and Fire Credit Union and for Dr. Martinez in North Cape May. Mary was a member of the Red Hat Society and life member of the Villas Fishing Club, and in her younger years enjoyed bowling and shuffleboard.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, James and Jennie McLaughlin; her beloved husband Stanley Hagerty Jr. (2020) and a daughter Mary Elizabeth Nicoletti, siblings James Jr. (Patricia), Sr. Regina Cordis I.H.M.(aka Peggy), John (Patricia), Jane(Joseph)Lowry.

Mary is survived by her sister, Josephine (Victor) Stott, three sons, Brian (Ellen),Neil(Janis), and Sean (Jeanne); four grandchildren, Samantha, Sean (Shan), Brett and Kyle (Chloe); countless nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 on Friday, February 21, 2025 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, North Cape May, NJ. A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 am at the funeral home. She will be interred at St. Mary's Cemetery in Cold Spring, NJ In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her daughter Mary Elizabeth Nicoletti's' memory to the Lupus Foundation of America, 2121 K Street, NW, Suite 200, Washington DC 20037 or in Mary E.
