Beatrice Marie (Parkinson) Flanigan , a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, passed away peacefully at home, on Friday, January 24, 2025, at the age of 91. Born at home in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Bebe grew up in the South Philadelphia and graduated from West Catholic All-girls school. She married the love of her life John(Chink) Flanigan in 1952, They moved to The Villas in 1966 where Bebe helped founded the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Lower Township Auxiliary, where she became President and a member of the Board of Governors, President of the Deborah Hospital, Wildwood Chapter, Chairman for the Cancer Society, helped establish the Cancer Society telethon, board member of the Christ Child Society, & hosted fashion shows at the Clover Inn. Bebe loved to entertain. She put on fundraising shows, shows for the nursing homes, the veterans Hospital in Vineland and decades of shows at The Villas Fishing Club. She worked as a bookkeeper at the Golden Inn in Avalon for many years & her favorite job was working as a hostess for Cozy Morley. Bebe was a light in any room she walked into, not just talking sequins and jewelry. She was loving, giving, stylish, strong-willed and unapologetically herself. She valued time with her family and was so proud of all her kids, always wanting to show them off. There was no shortage of love and laughter at Mom-mom & Pop-pop's house. Family was truly everything to her. Bebe is predeceased by the love of her life for 68 years, John Flanigan, son Michael Flanigan, brother Anthony Parkinson, granddaughter, Jamie Pearson-Bendix, USN, daughter in law Susan (Ward) Flanigan & son in law Brad Mac Donald. Bebe was survived by her son Jack, her daughter Trisha, daughter in law Beverly Flanigan MacDonald, her sister Lorraine (Ed) Parkinson & brother Richard (Pat) Parkinson survive Bebe. Her 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, along with many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Monsignor Thomas Flanigan at 12 pm on Friday, January 31st, 2025, at Parish of St. John Neuman Church of St. Raymond 800 Bayshore Road Villas NJ 08251. Visitation at the church from 10 am to 12pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Beatrice Flanigan's memory could be sent to St. Jude Children's research hospital P.O. box 50 Memphis, TN 38101-9929 / Stjude.org/wemissyou
