Cornelius Van Splinter, age 94, originally from Prospect Park passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024. Cornelius served in the US Army (1950-1953) as a meteorologist stationed in Fort Monmouth, NJ. Cornelius had lived in North Haledon for most of his life and worked for the US Postal Service Prior to Cornelius' passing he lived in Cape May, NJ.
Cornelius was the beloved husband of the late Florence Van Splinter (2019).
Loving father of James (Joann) ,John (Patricia) and Jason (Nicole), 5 grandchildren and
6 great-grandchildren.
Private services will be held.
