George M. Snyder, age 90, of North Cape May died on Tuesday at North Cape Center. Born in Erma, NJ, he was a lifelong area resident. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II in Europe. He was a member of Tabernacle U. M. Church of Erma and a former member of the Erma Fire Department. He was a former employee of Harbison-Walker Magnesite plant of Cape May Point and a former employee of Cape May Co. Vo-Tech for seven years and a former employee of a Memphis, Tenn. Grade school for ten years. He then retired from Rio Mall of Rio Grande. Surviving are a son, Edward (Sandra), and three grandchildren, Ed, Jr., Elizabeth and Samantha. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, 10:30 AM at Tabernacle U. M. Church, 702 Seashore Rd., Erma, NJ, where friends may call from 9:30 AM. Burial will be in Cold Spring Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be sent to Tabernacle Church.Evoy Funeral Home
