Patricia A. Cornwell, age 65, of Cold Spring passed away on Thursday at Cape Regional Medical Center after a long illness. Born in North Wildwood, she formerly lived in Middle Township and was a lifelong resident of this area. She was a loving caregiver to many people. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ruby Tillotson and a son, Joseph Cornwell. Surviving are her husband, Melvin J. Cornwell; two children, Donna (Mark) Alexander and Paul Cornwell of Lower township; a special friend Debra Hawkins; a sister Ruby (Joseph) Thompson of Moorestown, NJ; a brother, Jake (Marilyn) Tillotson of Fl.; three grandchildren, Markie P. Alexander, Barbara Ann Alexander and Angela (Scott) Maurer; three great-grandchildren, DeShawn and Brianna Blackman and Nolan Maurer; goddaughter Lisa Pizzileo and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday 2:00 pm at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd., N. Cape May, NJ, where friends may call from 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory are requested to: American Heart Assoc., 1 Union St., Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691, American Diabetes Assoc. 1060 N. Kings Hwy., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034 or the Kidney Foundation, 325 Chestnut St., Phila., Pa. 19106.
