Obituary of Charles Paul Francis

Charles Paul Francis USAF Retired, 84 of the Villas passed away Saturday, October 13, 2007 in the Cape Regional Med. Center, Cape May Ct. House. Born in Philadelphia he served in the United States Air Force from 1943 to 1963 attaining the rank of Staff Sgt.. His service included WW II and the Korean Conflict. After retiring from the service he worked for Middle Township, Cape May Co, A and J's in Lower Twp. and Cape May Co, Vo-Tech School. Charles enjoyed fishing, sewing, gardening and model airplanes. He was a member of the Retired Air Force Association. He is survived by his wife Sharon; seven children, Yvonne Jones and Shelia Reamen both of Illinois, Charlene Hanna of Iowa, Paul and Wayne Francis of Illinois, Charles Francis of Maryland and Patrick Francis of the Villas, a brother Frank of Camden and a sister Henrietta Foy of Virginia. He also leaves 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren A funeral service will be held Thursday, October 18, 2007, 11:00 am at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, North Cape May. Friends may call Thursday from 10-11am at the funeral home. Interment will be in Cape May County Veterans Cemetery, Cape May Ct. House.
