Our hearts were broken on November 28, 2017, when we lost an irreplaceable son, brother, and father. James "DJ" Van Doren is survived by his mother Virginia, father Dennis Somers, sister Holly, and step-mother Iva Somers. DJ also leaves behind three adoring children: Jonathan, Destinie, & Dominic, as well as his grandson Bryce. He is also survived by his lifelong "Bonnie" Tamie Carlson and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He always kept a special place in his heart for all of his friends, and will be truly missed. Nothing will ever fill the void that we are all left with, but the memory of his light will never fade. His children will carry on his memory and legacy without fear and full of passion.
