Kenneth J. Mallard, "Sgt. Ducky" age 66, of Del Haven passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at North Cape Center. Kenneth was born June 24, 1951 in Jersey City, NJ. He was a retired Sergeant for the Department of Corrections at Southern State Prison, Delmont, NJ where he worked as a Corrections Officer. Ken had a love of music, and was a bass guitarist, enjoying his jam sessions with his friends. He also was a dog lover and enjoyed fishing. Ken is survived by his previous wife Mary Mallard; his step children: Joe, Matt Monroe, Brian Monroe, Leon Monroe; his uncle Sam; and his companion Anna. There will be a Graveside Service at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Holy Name Cemetery, 823 West Side Ave, Jersey City, NJ 07306.
