Carl J Hauser, age 90, of North Cape May passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Victoria Manor Nursing Home. Carl was born April 26, 1927 in Philadelphia, PA and has been a Cape May area resident since 1957. He is the son of the late Paul E and the late Ann (Degnan) Hauser. Carl served his country in the US Navy during World War II. He retired from Crown, Cork, & Seal Bottling Company in Philadelphia, PA after 37 years of service. Carl was preceded in death by his daughter Valerie Keck. He is survived by his wife of 68 years: Joan (Lando) Hauser; two daughters: Lois Rudderow & Debbie (Ron) Jones; and three sons: Carl "Gus" (Jeanne) Hauser; John (Dot) Hauser, & Ron Hauser. Also surviving are his brothers: William Hauser & John (Carol) Hauser, his sisters: Phyllis (Dave) Cottrell & Dorothy Scheurer; 15 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren. There will be a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 28, 2017 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
