Margaret M Trout, age 95, of Villas passed away peacefully Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Victoria Manor of N. Cape May, NJ. Margaret was born April 25, 1922 in Camden, NJ; formerly lived in Cherry Hill; and has been a Cape May area resident since 1984. She is the daughter of the late Robert Emmet and the late Mary (McGuire) Hamilton. Margaret was a life member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Cape May; the DAV Auxiliary of Del Haven; and the Charles Buddy Lewis Post of the VFW Auxiliary. She was also a past President of the Erlton Fire Company Auxiliary in Cherry Hill; a charter member of the Erlton Baptist Church in Cherry Hill; served with the PTA of Cherry Hill School District; and was a Volunteer for the Department of Aging Cape May County for many years. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Charles W Trout; two daughters: Rosemary Michels & Margaret Traenkner; eight siblings, and 1 grandson. She is survived by two daughters: Charlene McConville & Marian Phillips. Also surviving are 2 son-in-laws, 8 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. There will be a funeral service at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ; where friends will be received from 9:30 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
