Elaine B Ambrose, age 95, of Cape May Court House passed away peacefully Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Crest Haven Nursing Home. Elaine was born July 27, 1921 in Velero, CA. and has been a Cape May area resident for 42 years. She was a Lutheran by faith and a member of the Lower Township Senior Center. She is the daughter of the late Albert and the late Lena (Shields) Hubbard. Elaine was employed by Friends Hospital, Phila. as a Housekeeper, American Business Systems of Philadelphia, and a nursing home in Woodburn, NJ. She was preceded in death by two husbands: Mark McClintock & Bill Ambrose; and her two sisters: Dot & Evelyn. Elaine is survived by her daughter: Jackie (Bernie) Blank and her son: Mark (Barbara) McClintock. Also has five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. There will be a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 26, 2017 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 12:00 to 1:00 PM.
