Raymond Thomas Trexler, age 82, of North Cape May passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at his home. Raymond was born October 28, 1934 in Philadelphia, PA and became a Cape May area resident after his retirement in 1994. He is the son of the late Raymond and the late Ethel (Mumenthaler) Trexler. Raymond was employed by the Budd Company of Philadelphia, PA as a Tool & Die Maker. He was a member of the Villas Fishing Club, enjoyed vegetable & flower gardening, eating chocolate, and loved traveling. Raymond is survived by his wife of 62 years: Marlene (Gomeringer) Trexler; his sons: David (Debbie) Trexler, Wayne Trexler, & Brian (Kristen) Trexler; and his daughter Lisa (Larry) Sgalippa. Also surviving are his brother Jack Trexler, his sisters: Ethel McCormick & Elaine Pantalone, 7 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. There will be a funeral service at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
