Donald Ford, age 82, of North Cape May passed away March 9, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was formerly of Randolph NJ and an area resident since 1970. Don was the Owner/Operator of the Rio Grande Sunoco for 20 years. He graduated from Morris Hills Regional High School in 1955 and attended every class reunion. Don served In the U.S. Marine Corps and faithfully put up the American flag and the Marine Corp flag every morning and taking them down in the evening. He was a kind and gentle man who touched many people throughout his life and was adored by his family.. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Jean and his children David Taylor, Donna Taylor (Victor Smith), Tracy Moyer (Dave), Marcia Seggern (Steve), Denise Brannan (Pat). His 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Sisters Doris Huyler and Betty Schlerf. Preceded in death by his 3 brothers Wesley, Willard, Bobby and sister Eleanor Alpers. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 11:00 am from the Evoy Funeral Home,. 3218 Bayshore Road, North Cape May, NJ 08204, where friends may call from 10:00 – 11:00am. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
