Obituary of Victor J Zenglin

Victor J. Zenglin, Jr., age 77, of Villas, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2017 at his home. Victor was born in Philadelphia, PA; was formerly from that city; and has been a Cape May area resident for 25 years. He summered here in his youth with his uncle. Victor is the son of the late Victor J Zenglin, Sr. and the late Irene (Denver) Zenglin. He retired from the Philadelphia Police Department where he was a Supervisor for the Fleet Management Division. Victor also worked for Villas Auto Parts for 5 years. He enjoyed fishing and especially loved having his whole family for Thanksgiving (which was his favorite holiday). Victor was a great brother-in-law to his wife's sisters. He was preceded in death by his grandsons: Tony & Joey. Victor is survived by his wife of 32 years Andrea (nee Sheppard) Zenglin; his sons: Robert Soulsby & Victor J Zenglin, III; and his daughters: Debbie (Frank) Kirk, Victoria Cole, Cheryl (Barry) Roxberry, & Andrea Zenglin. Also surviving are his sister Charlotte Wilson; his 8 grandchildren: Crystal, Mac, Shane, Matt, Kristin, Amber, Eddie, & Kelly; his 3 great grandchildren: Emma, Samantha, & Anthony; and his faithful dog Kate.
