Obituary of Raymond W Stewart

Raymond W Stewart, Jr., age 79, of Villas passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Daughter's Residence of Pennsauken, NJ. Raymond was born May 21, 1937 in Philadelphia, PA. He is the son of the late Raymond and the late Eleanor (Stabler) Stewart. Raymond served his country in the US Navy aboard the SS Saratoga. He was a retired Philadelphia Police Officer serving for 22 years. Raymond was a former President and Treasurer of the Villas Fishing Club, a member of the FOP Lodge 5 of North Wildwood, and a member of the Moose Lodge of Villas. He was predeceased by his wife, June (Citrino) Stewart on 10/19/2014 and his brother Richard Stewart. Raymond is survived by his daughter Joyce Ann Rispo of Pennsauken, NJ and his son Raymond Stewart of West Cape May, NJ. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren: Thomas & Vincent and 2 great grandchildren: Thomas & Anthony. There will be a visitation from 9:00 to 10:30 AM on Monday, January 30, 2017 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204 followed by an 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at the Parish of St John Neumann, St John of God RC Church, 680 Townbank Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204.
