Leopold "Lenny" "Pop" Capriglione, age 83, of North Cape May passed away Friday, December 30, 2016 at Jefferson Hospital of Philadelphia, PA. Lenny was born April 19, 1933 in Newark, NJ; was formerly from Mountainside, NJ; and has been a Cape May area resident since 2001. He is the son of the late Guilio and the late Florinda Capriglione. He served his country in the US Army. Lenny was the owner/operator of Cappy's Coffee Shop in Mountainside, NJ for many years. He enjoyed the Senior Center in Villas, painting birdhouses, and his favorite pastime was playing the lottery. Lenny was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years Josephine and all of his siblings. He is survived by his son Lenny Jr. (Jamie) Capriglione; his daughter Lisa (John) Glogowski; and his son Anthony (Jill) Capriglione. Also surviving are his five grandchildren: Nicole, Johnny, Vinny, Callie, & Charlie; and his two great grandchildren: Mason & Gianna. There will be a funeral service at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, N Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.
