Elizabeth M. "Betty" O'Donnell, age 73, of North Cape May passed away Thursday, December 22, 2016. Elizabeth was born in Philadelphia, PA; was formerly from North East Philly; and has been a Cape May area resident for 40 years. She operated the Villas Karate Studio for 30 years. Betty was a member of the Good Samaritan Baptist Church in North Cape May. She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Matthews (Robert Sharp); and her brothers: John Abrams, Chris Abrams, & Tommy Abrams. Also surviving are her 4 grandchildren: Jada, Olivia, Jordyn, & Tyler and her former husband and friend Michael O'Donnell. There will be a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Interment will be private. The family suggests donations in Betty's memory to the American Heart Assoc., 1 Union St, Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691.
