Joseph R. Raffaele, Sr., age 83, of Villas (formerly Wildwood) passed away on Friday, September 30, 2016 Joseph R. was born October 4, 1932 in Philadelphia, PA and came to Wildwood in 1968. He is the son of the late Francis and Mary (Tucci) Raffaele. He had been the owner-operator of Joe's Pizza in Germantown, PA and also had worked for Bond Bread and Stroemann Bread Companies. He was lastly employed by Wildwood Tram Co., Wildwood, NJ. He had been a member of the Elks Club in Wildwood. Joseph was preceded in death by a son John Raffaele Jr. and three grandchildren: Brian, Joseph R. III and Jason. He is survived by two daughters: Teresa Linney and Angelica (Daniel) Perry; two sons: Joseph (Joann) Raffaele Jr & Gary (Cindy) Raffaele; a sister Phyliss; two brothers: Dominic & Edward; and a daughter-in-law Karen Raffaele. He also leaves many grandchildren and great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 11AM on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, N. Cape May; where relatives and friends will be received from 10 to 11 AM. Burial will be at the Cold Spring Cemetery. A special "Thank You" to the Autumn Lake Nursing Family.
