Obituary of Roy Eugene Baker

Roy Baker, age 85, of Cape May passed away peacefully with his wife by his side Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at his home. He was born in Chandlersville, OH; previously lived in Akron, OH; and has been a Cape May area resident since 1996. Roy served his country as a Sergeant in the US Marine Corps. He worked for KenTool Manufacturing in Akron, OH as a tool and die maker. Roy was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church; a member of the Cape Island Lodge #30 F&AM; and Shekinah Chapter #82 Order of the Eastern Star. Surviving are: his wife of 41 years Leslie (nee Miller) Baker; two sons: Larry Baker & Jay Seth Baker; and two daughters: Karen Weaver & Elizabeth L Baker Hoge Ockert. Also surviving are six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Randy Lee Baker, seven sisters, and two brothers. There will be a Memorial Service scheduled at a later date.
