Richard L. Egan, age 75, of Rio Grande passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Court House Convalescent Center. Richard was born May 18, 1940 in Philadelphia, PA. He is the son of the late Andrew B. and the late Ruth E. (Llewellyn) Egan. Richard served his country in the US Army from 1958 to 1960. He was employed by ACME Markets, South Philadelphia, PA as a Warehouseman. He is survived by four daughters: Charlene Wagman, Brenda Davis, Kathleen Svanti, and Denise Egan; and one son: Jack Grundy. Also surviving are two sisters: Anna Marie Peranteau & Ruth Sweeney; one brother Andrew (John) Egan; 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews. There will be a Memorial Service at 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 2:00 to 3:00 PM.
