David J. Gairo, age 71, of N Cape May passed away suddenly on Friday, November 27, 2015 David was born December 15, 1943 in Philadelphia, PA. He graduated from Cardinal Dougherty High School in Philadelphia and served in the US Marine Corp Reserves. David is a Past President of the East Penn Traction Club (EPTC) and current President of the Electric City Trolley Museum Association (ECTMA)having served over 20 years in this capacity. He was retired after 30 years with Unisys, Blue Bell, PA where he had been a Systems Analyst. He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years,: Ann(Pomposello) Gairo ; two sons, Anthony and Neil Gairo; a sister Karen Mc Glynn; a brother John Seagrave; a step-brother Ryan Seagrave and a step-sister, Jamie Seagrave. David was preceded in death by his mother and step-father Anthony and Evelyn Seagrave and a sister Kathleen Carlin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, December 5 at St. John Neumann Parish/ St. John Of God Church, 680 Townbank Road, N Cape May, NJ where relatives and friends will be received from 10 to 11 am. Burial will follow at Cold Spring Cemetery. Contributions in his name can be made to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Blvd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
