Obituary of Rose Mildred Tata

Rose Mildred Tata, age 94, of North Cape May passed away peacefully Monday, November 16, 2015 at her home. Rose was born January 31, 1921 in Philadelphia, PA; was formerly of Davie, FL and North Wildwood; and has been a Cape May area resident for over 50 years. She is the daughter of the late John and the late Mary (Caluso) Salerno. Rose retired from Mack's Pizza, Wildwood, NJ; where she was manager for 40 Years. She was affectionately known as "The Old Lady at Mack's". She touched many lives through her wisdom, experience, guidance, and tough love. Rose enjoyed being around and talking to people. She was loved by her siblings, nieces, nephews, and other extended family. Rose was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Tata and her son Gaetano Tata. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Cape May County Veteran's Cemetery, 127 Crest Haven Rd, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.
