Helen Jane Watson, age 86, of North Cape May died Saturday, July 18, 2015 at the North Cape Center. Helen was born June 9, 1929 in Cape May and was a lifelong area resident.. She is the daughter of the late Norman and the late Mabel (Springer) Torrey. She was a member of the Old Brick Cold Spring Presbyterian Church. Helen had worked as a waitress for the Lobster House Restaurant and also Palmers Landing Inn both in Cape May. She was preceded in death by her husband Harris J. Watson Sr. and son Harris J. Watson Jr. She is survived by one daughter: Diana (Andy) Barber of North Cape May. She also leaves five grandchildren, Melissa (Richard) Axelsson, Andrew (Kelly) Barber, Holly Watson, Jessica (Robert) Boyd and Samantha Watson and six great-grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, North Cape May where friends may call from 10 to 11 am. Burial will be in Cold Spring Presbyterian Cemetery, Cold Spring Contributions in her memory to the Love of Linda Cancer Fund, PO Box 1053, Wildwood, NJ 08260 would be appreciated.
