June A Comerford, age 81, of North Cape May passed away peacefully Monday, May 25, 2015 at Victoria Manor. June was born in Camden, NJ; was formerly from Pennsauken, NJ; and has been a Cape May area resident for over 25 years. She retired from Bell Telephone Company after 25 years of service. June was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Cape May serving as an usher. Her favorite pastime was boating. She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, William F Comerford in 2011. June is survived by one daughter: Dawn Kasper of Florida; and two grandchildren: Thomas Kasper & Sandra Casper. Also surviving is her niece Diane (George) Rowland of Milford, DE. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church, 635 Washington St, Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Cold Spring Cemetery, 780 Seashore Rd, Cold Spring, NJ 08204.
