Lieb, Alice J. (nee Lyman) Bello 91, born in the Brewerytown section of Philadelphia. Alice passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 3, 2018. Alice was predeceased by her husband, John Lieb, and her first husband, Robert Bello. She is survived by her 6 children, Diane Read (Frank), Judy Miller (Jim), Andrea Hafele (Lee), Terri Stronski, Bob Bello (Marta), Pierette Wesley (Joe), 22 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, her sisters Betty and Joan, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Formerly of Runnemede and Glendora, she attended St. Ludwig's Parish School and Hallahan High School. After her marriage to Bob, they moved to New Jersey. In 1982, Alice and Bob moved to N. Cape May.
Alice was the Tinsmith at Cold Spring Village for several years and she loved to travel. In 1993 she married her childhood friend, John Lieb. Alice loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her faith was foremost in her life. A member of St. John of God Church, she was a lector, a Third Order Francescan, belonged to the Christ Child Society and The Legion of Mary. The last year and a half of her life, she resided at Brookdale Assisted Living in Cape May Court House in their memory care unit. Alice was a wonderful, loving mother and wife. She will be dearly missed by many. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11am on Saturday, February 10th at the Parish of St. John Neumann Church of St. John of God Church, 680 Townbank Road, Cape May, NJ; friends may call 1 hour prior to service from 10am to 11am.
